Fantastic harth side splitter

We have had this almost 2 years next to out wood stove and it is fantastic for starting fires and breaking up firewood stove side. Fantastic size, shape works great and all around High quality tool. Make sure to keep oiled properly when staying near wood stove. By doing so we see absolutely no signs of drying, cracking, or shrinking.

Excellent splitter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to see if it was any better to split than a traditional maul. It definitely is better but depends on the wood. If you have dry wood that's of shorter lengths this is the tool to use. If your a cabin owner or occasionally use you wood stove this is the ticket. Cuts through in one swing .
