weakened immune system, spring valley been around a long time at Walmart so I'm hoping it's a great reputable manufacturer of supplements in todays 2025 world. so many competitors so many prices, a girl has to make a choice and hope for the best. I've been taking it for about two weeks once per morning with Vit c and female probiotics to boost everything... I have paticuarly noticed my nails getting stronger, they are splitting in sheets or bending as much. I up my dose to one in the am and one in the pm for last few nights hoping I'm doing what's right for me, taking supplements without proper educational understanding of herbs, supplements how they are manufactured and how body processes them is always a hit and miss bc the information and availabiility of products and prices can be so confusing. I'm sticking with the basics and if I see improvement then Im going to addd what I can afford and not be swayed by manufacturing promotions. I was taking culturelle 3in 1 and name brand womens probiotic for complicated chronic UTI, I see improvements in 5 months along with proper hygene at the same time how am I to know the brand is what is working? so I switched to a more affordable brand that supposedly has more live cultures than the one I was taking and its less than half of name brand price, I'm taking generic vit c 1000 mg, after a few months I'm trying Spring Valley vit D3 once per day and have seen noticeable improvements in my fingernails that were splitting in tiny fine sheets, I could peel the little tiny sheets that were coming off at the tips, its like our nails are grown in layers, I did not know this... but the splitting of the layers of my nails has ceased after one full week taking Spring Valley Vit D3, who would have thunk???? so I'm going for second dose at night for one week to see what happens. I'm only going slow and gradual bc my budget wont allow me to order anything and everything I want, so I'm guessing after as much research as I can possibly understand about supplements and my physical health issues. I believe God created plants, herbs, and scientist to put together things to help heal our bodies, not to mention the actual god made fruits, vegetables, grains, and quality proteins we needs. its all a fine tuned balance and when your blind and haven't got the education or the financial means you hope and pray your decisions to purchase things to heal your body will help a long with prayer and putting god first. then he will direct our footsteps in the way we should go and the things we need and the decisions we need to make the decisions based on gods wisdom and direction not my limited understanding. I need god to help me figure out what to do and how to heal my body, and maybe through supplements god will show me what to do and what to take that I can actually afford. I hope this helps someone searching for help in their life like i am. I know starting with god is the only answer then he will direct us in the way we go.
