Items might fall off if you open the front pocket and the bag is standing up but it is the right design to open while wearing it. Slide the bag on the front and pick up what you need. Phone holder is small and can carry phones without covers. I prefer to use that for keys and small wallet. People really need to check the measurements in the description before complaining about size. Yes, the bottle holder is small, but it feels the right size compared to the rest. I wouldn't use a sling bag with large water bottles even if the holder was large. I actually use the bottle holder for hand sanitizer and glasses. Overall I am satisfied.
