Liked that they were one of few that didn't have a prop 65 warning a page long. That's one thing I wouldn't think you'd have to look for on luggage….but almost every set was full of harmful chemicals and materials. They are cute. Not as hard on shell as most, but I hope they are sturdy. I have not used them yet. They arrived with a scratch and small dent on the medium sized one, which is odd because they were all stacked in one another. They do look a little different than photos, but they are still cute. They look like they will be good luggage. There are a lot of compartments and areas for storage. I thought they were expandable, but they are not. I probably misread. I wanted to give 3 stars due to scratch and small dent, but gave 4, because of no prop 65 warning. Also, seem nice and roomy. Decent price too.

The luggage is roomy, great for a road trip, and perfect for the price. I would not recommend this if you're planning to fly and check your luggage. On my first trip with this set, I used the large and carry-on sizes. The carry-on was perfect and I had no problems. The large piece, which I checked, did not fare so well. By the time I got to my destination, there were scratches big and deepenough that the color was removed from the bag, not too bad; it was still perfectly functional. On my return trip, however, the shell gave out and split down the side. Not the zipper, that held up well, the hard casing itself. like i said, this set is perfectly adequate, if a little flimsy, for a road trip, and the carry-on is okay to use for air travel, but the siding is not strong enough to stand up to the stress checked baggage goes through. The belt systems in airports, the was baggage handlers toss bags around, and the drastic changes in temperature and air pressure in the cargo hold of most aircraft, you might want to spend a little more to get a sturdier set.
