Great saw!

I last owned a dewalt hypoid saw and then I borrowed someone's old school skil saw and used it and realized the Skil was superior. I love this saw it purrs like a kitten and cuts like a hot knife through butter. I have used battery operated rear-handled saws too and I think they have their place, but you can't go wrong with this one.

Recently purchased my second skilsaw

Skil worm drive saws are the best! My first skilsaw was purchased in 1975 and it's still working great. For a renovation project on a vacation home I have recently purchased my second. One is in SC and other in ME. If you're right handed being able to hold the saw in your right hand and see the cut line is ideal. The saw doesn't bog down in treated yellow pine and if you can hold the work piece at an angle the saws weight will pull it through the cut.
