Bought this a year ago for our entry. It is a dense rug that holds up very well in traffic - it does not mat down or show where we've walked. It feels medium to firm under foot, so great as an entry rug. It doesn't shed or look like it sheds, but the vacuum does pick up a lot of fibers - but the rug is so dense that it is not an issue. We are very happy with the durability, colors, and quality of this carpet and would definitely buy again.
