Instructions
Cooking instructions:Note: For drier rice, remove 1/4 cup water. For moister rice, add 1/4 cup morewater.On the stove:In a medium saucepan, add 1 cup Golden Star® Brown Jasmine Rice to 2 1/2 cups water. Cover with a tight fitting lid and bring to a full boil. Do not uncover while cooking. Lower heat to simmer Brown Jasmine Rice for 45 minutes, stirring once. Remove from heat and let saucepan cool for 5 minutes, then fluff rice with fork and serve.In the microwave:In a microwave bowl, add 1 cup Golden Star® Jasmine Rice to 3 1/2 cups water. Microwave the Jasmine Rice, uncovered, for 30 minutes. Microwave ovens vary. Cooking times are approximate. Fluff rice with fork and serve.

Best Jasmine, great value
This is my favorite brand of Jasmine rice. When cooked in my Zojirushi rice cooker it maintains its individual shape, texture. After cooked it can stay on warm 12 hours and still as delicious as when it was first cooked.

Always loved the aroma and taste of jasmine rice, however typically its always the white variety. And to find it as a brown rice variety is a huge plus. This is good, cooks well, and had a lovely texture. I have been buying it now for a few years.
