Gets hot boils water soup cooks meat

not many ratings on this so I didnt know what to go on. The only flaw with this is that 70% of the heat setting is between low and warm, so you got 30% of the knob for actual cooking. This isn't a functionality issue, hence the 5 star, just the design could be a little more practical,

Hottest hotplate period

I use it for blackening. I don't want to buy gas. This thing is just as good. It's white hot. Much, much hotter than the Farberware 1300 what unit (which I returned). It costs twice as much. But it's worth it. The price here was less than any other reputable vendor. Very, very well made in the USA. How often do you get that anymore?

Best Hot Plate Ever

If you need a Hot Plate look no further than this Broil King. My kitchen is being remodeled so I needed something to cook on and I just love this, there is no other Hot Plate out there like this one! Oh and they sent me a Warming Tray by mistake and when I contacted Broil King it was a little hard to get them to understand their mistake Hot PLate vs Warming Tray but they did finally and sent my Hot Plate out pronto and told me to keep the Warming Tray for my trouble, well the thing was really too big for me so I donated it to our local Men's Mission in Broil Kings name, win-win!!
