Let me start off by saying that I didn't keep these shoes because even with the wide width, they were too narrow for my feet. But with that being said... The quality of these shoes was exactly what I was looking for. The leather is smooth and flexible, and the bottom sole is well cushioned for your feet, so you can walk in them for long periods of time without fatigue. If these shoes were a little wider, I would have kept them! Let me add to this review my customer experience - the first ones I bought were a size up and in wide width (because wide widths come in whole sizes only, not half sizes). I also bought them in Cranberry color. The shoe was too big for my toes, and the color just didn't work for me, so I went a size down and changed the color to the standard Cognac color. When I submitted my exchange, I received a confirmation email indicating that they were going to send me other shoes in exchange - only they got the exchange order wrong. I emailed them back and explained the problem, and they fixed it at no cost to me. I am very pleased with the customer service I received, even though I ultimately didn't keep the shoes. The only thing I didn't like about the whole refund/exchange process was that I had to pay for the shoes to be sent back to Stacy Adams. The next time I buy from them, I will try shoes on in a store that sells their shoes, because I never know whether a shoe is going to be a good fit for me by looking at a picture, and it cost me almost half the price of the shoe to send them back. I basically paid to try them on. Just a little heads up guys!
