The system is very impressive. Sounds good right out of the box. The satellites are clear, and the sub is impressive, it has great clarity and adds a lot of warmth to the system when listening to music. I also had some questions on the install and future upgrade options, and the customer service team was very helpful, knowledgeable and responsive, even on a weekend. _x000D_ There may be better systems out there, but for value for money, I am very happy with what we got.

We have been contemplating downsizing our audio system for some time now. Our system consisted of Thiel CS3.5s for the mains, a Thiel SCS2 for the center channel, a Sunfire sub and a pair of Bose for the rears. My AV receiver (a Harman Kardon) began to malfunction so we decided that it was time to replace it all. My wife wanted something unobtrusive like a Bose Lifestyle System, but I wanted something that really sounded great. My research pointed me toward SVS. The reviews looked very good so I purchased a Denon AVR-S710W receiver and three Prime Satellites for left, right, and center, and an SB-1000 subwoofer. After hooking everything up, we sat down to listen to an audiophile Jazz station. I left all of the levels at the default point and we were a little underwhelmed. I began to tweak the levels of the SB-1000 and the system really came alive. I was very impressed and my wife was simply amazed. We don't miss the large system at all and the taut base of the SB-1000 is awesome. Voices are excellent on the satellites and instrumental transients are awesome.I'm a believer and proud to wear my SVS T-shirt.
