HP Chromebook 14, 14" Full HD Display, AMD A4-9120C, AMD Radeon R4 Graphics, 4 GB SDRM, 32GB eMMC, Audio by B&O, Ink Blue, 14-db0043wm

I received the hp Chromebook at no cost to me, in exchange of my personal opinion on its quality and durability among other things. First, let me just say in relation to its operating system, that I have never owned a Chromebook. So When I received this one I anticipated that it would be like windows or android; I was kind of surprised to see that it is just different in many ways; for example, the soft wear included can be pinned to taskbar, and that is primarily how you access it; those are the shortcuts to the apps. The Wi-Fi settings are very intuitive; the HP Chromebook scanned my Wi-Fi right away, and as soon as I entered my password; the Chromebook greeted me and showed me all of the apps that I had purchased from the app store in the past, and asked me to download or chose what to download. Downloading the chosen apps in this Chromebook too about a minute. And syncing to my phone was a matter of a click, since it showed my phone on the screen right away, asking me if I wanted to sync it. The 14 full hd display, is noticeably vibrant; I did not need to adjust the graphic settings. The body of this Chromebook is not glossy and smooth, which for me is a plus since it prevents it from slipping, and help keeps a firm grip on it. This Chromebook came fully charged. I never use computers for more than 2 hours other than at work, so I can not comment on how long the battery would last; however, I was on it for two hours last night and the charging icon still showed “full”.

This is my fourth notebook laptop and it is my second favorite, if not favorite. The only negative I can say about it is that I keep wanting to use it as a touch screen and tap on the screen but it's not automatically set up for that. I need to go into the settings and see if I can turn on a touch screen option. Other than that, everything is great. The images on the screen are incredibly clear and bright. The battery life is longer and better than my other devices. Even if I don't use this for a couple days, if I get back on, the battery life has only dropped two or 3%. I like the navy blue color of this shell and that it is distinct from my other black devices. The keyboard is responsive and quiet. I am not a video gamer and I use this for things like social media, shopping, Netflix, and photos. Works perfectly well for my purposes. I would recommend this product.
