I guess I should have read how it goes in the back seat. There's no way to hook to the car seat to the back seat to hold it more securely only after the child gets in it to sit then take the seat belt and hook it up over the child shoulder and snap the seat belt. I thought it should have more support to hold the car seat to the back seat and I don't know what else to do to hold the car seat more securely even after I would use the bottom of the booster seat it's the same way no support to attach it to the back seat only when the child sits in it then the seat goes across the child shoulder then clip the seat belt in. So if you want more securely booster car seat check the information on another one to see how it holds to the back seat before you buy. The material of this booster car seat is very well made and can take the seat part off to clean and put back but I just got this so I will be looking forward to see how easy it would be to clean but I can always wipe it down with wipes to sanitize the hold seat. It also has 2 drink holders to hold sippy cups with water only in my car which water is good for the child to drink even when the child gets older.

easy install and once straps were set up, my 4yo could easily buckle herself with pickup from school! she loves the color and that it came with a little toy was great! definitely recomend. I feel like it will protect my sweetheart if in an accident.
