Feeling much better

This is my second three wheel bike. I had both knees replacement last year 2020 and this is the best way to exercise and strengthen my legs. I love it and ride every time for exercise. My bike came with a lock, so keep it safe when you're not riding.

Good Tryke for Seniors Like Me

Liked: shipped on time, packing super GREAT! I am 5'3" and 84 years old. Wanted something to take for quick runs to grocery store etc. Got 26" but maybe should have gotten 24". Will explain in a bit! Took my time so as to avoid frustration errors. Took one day to unpack box and protective bubble wraps and cardboard and sort pieces. Read the manual at least 3 times and watched recommended Youtube video before starting assembly. No screws, bolts, nuts or washers missing. No "tools" provided but I have plenty of my own and probably better quality than what is usually included. Dislikes: Assembly manual and video could have been more inclusive for this "granny" to understand and some small information pieces could have been included for us "newbies" to bike assembly, e.g. how to take slack out of chain; how much air to inflate tires; why does left pedal have reverse threading instead of usual "righty tighty - lefty loosey". Fortunately neighbor had prior experience with reverse threading and in less than 5 minutes had pedal in place which I had labored on for over a hour! Chain and air pressure were solved by call to local bike shop and help of super kind sales person. By time assembly was complete I must have consulted manual 25 - 30 times, brought notebook computer into garage and played/paused same too many times to count! BUT I DID IT!!!!! Yes it took ME 4 days going slowly, by myself, with times out to do laundry, walk the dog and take my own potty breaks. Therefore, anyone with the little knowledge and physical strength of this rheumatoid arthritic 84 year old CAN ASSEMBLE THE TRYKE! Just take your time, keep reading the manual/watching and pausing the video, and knowing that it is the reverse threading on the left pedal and not YOU that is the problem, avoiding STRESS and calling bike shop for missing info, and you too can be the proud cycler of something you self assembled. Other problems encountered: as said earlier I am 5'3" and also have had both knees replaced, I can raise (bend) them just fine for every day activity, but when I had to raise/bend the knees to pass over the front frame I was 1" too low to clear the frame. Need to raise the knee lift with passive assist from hand. OK. Will practice more. These are a few of the things one does not anticipate, but can be worked out. All in all, I LOVE the tryke. Just wish we had more level terrain instead of these KY hills - not strong enough yet to pedal the uphills. As for down hills, they are definitely more fun! They also let you find out how well the brakes work before plowing into the back of the garage! They DO work.

Preenex 3-Wheeled Adult Tricycle

I bought this bike because it a heavy duty Tricycle that can be used for any one up to 400lbs in weight. I love it! My kids love it! I bought it for my special needs son and my special needs Brother. I paid for the Walmart/Handy assembly at home, Jaime G. Made sure he met and fulfilled his obligation in making sure our Tricycle was assembled safely and perfect so that we can all enjoy it.
