[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this great looking planter to grow a few garden veggies. Last year we had modest success growing a few tomatoes in a small planter but not much yield. This year we wanted to expand on that success and get a bigger yield by using this larger, 12” deep, trough-like planter box. The planter is sturdy, about 17” wide and 46” long with three sizable drainage holes in the bottom. In spite of the fact our back yard is totally fenced, we still have a variety of small wildlife that visit our yard, so we placed the planter up on some blocks. Once we had the blocks level on the ground, we placed the planter on top, filled it with approximately one and a half big bags of garden soil, and planted our seeds. They're starting to grow and we're very excited about what we'll produce this year! Great looking planter and we believe we'll soon produce lettuce, broccoli and tomatoes! This attractive planter would also look great full of flowering plants, ferns and etc. If you enjoy container gardening, I'd definitely recommend this nice planter.

I was able to place this on top of an exterior wall because of its lightweight design and set up was a breeze!
