Made in USA! 3-qt - the perfect size for a small round artisan loaf. have used it once - with great results high quality Dutch oven that will last for generations. instructions say the max oven temperature is 425 F. After reading many, many websites and review of this specific item, I heated it to 450 F. and had no trouble at all.

Inspect it first-hand before buying
Internet feedback about this product was strongly positive and since it weighs half what my cast iron Dutch oven weighs and stills cooks a loaf of bread like mine, I was sold. I ordered it using Walmart's site to store system (LOVE that system!). Once I opened it at home and inspected it, I found several places under the lid's rim where the porcelain coating wasn't smooth. Fearing the coating might chip off there making it unusable, I decided to return this pot and purchase it when I can inspect it first-hand.
