We needed a power strip/surge protector that would fit behind a cabinet for our bedroom TV, Blu-Ray player, etc. This one is very compact but still has a reasonably high protection rating, all at a good price. We have used Tripp Lite products for years and have never had a problem with them.

I use the Tripp Lite 6 outlet surge protector for an HP desktop computer, printer & modem combo. It is extremely user friendly with the 8 foot cord & right angle plug that can accommodate to a multitude of circumstances. A green light is easily assessed to confirm functionality. I would definitely recommend this surge protector
I purchased this Tripp-Lite surge protector for my den. I have limited space between my file cabinet and desk/hutch. The flat plug is definitely a plus, because it hugs against the wall. The 8-ft cord is accessible between my file cabinet and desk. The sixth plug is ideal for the larger plug that my external hard drive has. I feel that my iMac computer, printer and external hard drive are well protected should we have a power outage.
