Colavita Pasta is family tradition from the fields of Molise, Italy. Made from 100% durum wheat, this fundamental component of the Mediterranean diet is available in a variety of cuts for all your favorite dishes. The Colavita Pasta Company was founded by the Colavita family in 1912 in the small hilltop town of Sant'Elia a Pianisi, about twenty miles to the east of Campobasso in the Molise region of Italy. Surrounded by wheat fields, the people of Molise have always held an unwavering respect for farming traditions. In this same spirit, the Colavita family drew upon the resources of their homeland to produce their superb pasta for the local market and soon became a favorite of the Molise region. Generations later, this artisanal product became available worldwide.
