Bought this for my kid's bedroom, and it's the right height, and size for my first grader to work on his homework comfortably, and plenty of space to store writing utensils, notebooks, etc. My preschooler also enjoys sitting, and coloring, but it is a bit difficult for her to work comfortably, but thats not an issue, and it is mainly used by the oldest.
