Delicious taste

Peet's coffee is wonderful and has a bold delicious taste. Coffee is an integral part of the smooth functioning of our lives. With so many different brands and roasts on the market, picking out the right coffee can be a challenge. Coffee can go wrong by being weak, bitter, burnt, old. It is best to choose a good coffee bean. Peet's chooses the best colombian coffee beans. They select the most exceptional growths of Colombia often from the high southern redoubt of San Agustin, Huila. Peet's has a balanced brightness and sweetness, full-bodied, with shade of the coffee fruit. When I test coffee, I look for smoothness and complexity with no off-flavors. The beans should be neither under-roasted nor charred, and the brew should have at least moderate aroma and flavor, and subtle top notes. All coffee consist of arabica or robusta beans. The higher the area of coffee is grown, the better the coffee is. Columbian coffee is grown in high mountainous areas and a result tastes better than coffee grown at an elevation of 500 feet. Richness usually denotes the roast characteristics of a coffee after it is roasted. No matter how good the coffee is, if you don't brew it properly oh oh. I recommend Peet's coffee.

exactly as described

First impression: I love the packaging. It is very appealing and looks expensive and gourmet. The aroma right out of the bag is sweet and light. The label on the package describes it as "balanced brightness and sweetness" I would agree. It is also described as a deep roast. It is dark. I made it according to the directions on the bag: 2 Tbs/6oz water. I tasted it before adding sugar and creamer and it came out dark and sweet. I added half and half and about 1/2 tsp of sugar, and it was like the coffee couldn't compete with the cream and sugar. It was still good, it just seemed to dilute the taste of the coffee. Overall it is rich and smooth. Should be a crowd pleaser even for those who don't like dark coffee. No hint of bitterness.

Great Coffee

Since I really am not a coffee drinker, I selected this for my hubby. When he first opened the package, the rich dark aroma came forward. I love to smell good coffee when first opened and this one was great. Hubby brewed it and the smell while brewing was the same as when the package was opened. It had a very rich, and dark flavor. Something you would expect from an expensive coffee shop if you visited one. He stated that he really enjoyed the dark flavor and was very rich in taste. He then stated after the second brewing that this would now be his favorite brand of coffee. He really enjoys his coffee in the am, so this a good thing. Now the only problem is that there is not a store withing 50 miles that carries the coffee. It should be in every store and now he is disappointed that he can't get more. Think he went online to check it out and it is available to order and have delivered, but he wasn't thrilled about that. Need to put in stores if you want to sell.
