Engel ENG35 35 Qt High Performance Cooler & Ice Chest - 36 Cans, Coastal White

This Cooler is very well designed. There is a Drain and Plug located on the bottom right side facing the cooler. The screw-in plug is designed to allow drain water to flow through it without being totally removed (see attached pictures). This will help from losing the plug by not having to completely remove it. There are slots and triangular openings on top of the cooler but under the lid on both ends (see attached pictures) to install tie-down straps or bungee cords and prevent the cooler from sliding or flipping over. The 4 foot pads located on the bottom corners are made from softer material than the cooler that should reduce sliding also. The foot pads also keep the cooler raised off the ground to allow for air to circulate under the cooler and help keep it from heating up from the ground below it (especially on hotter days). The 2 front corners have thru holes in them for installing locks to prevent the lid from being opened when needed. The exterior surfaces of the cooler are without many high and low spots or surfaces that help when wiping down and or cleaning the outside (a big plus for me). The latch mounting hardware stainless steel bases have oblong slots in them so that they can be adjusted to help keep the top lid tight against the cooler. It would have been even better if the latch bases were made with longer slots, but it shouldnt take much adjustment to keep it tight. It has an "Emergency Bottle Opener", Yes thats right! Its located at the top latch mount base and under the lid. Try not to wear it out. I wish I was allowed to attach more pictures but I did my best in the descriptions. There is a blue label on the front of the cooler that states that the cooler holds ice for 10 days (as if 8 is not enough). This is my first investment in a really nice cooler and I think I made a great choice. Fast shipping also!
