Product details

Legacy desk shells are the framework for a complete office. Customize with pedestals, returns, bridges or other storage options. This 42-inch long desk is a great choice for classrooms, home offices or dorm rooms. Two wire management grommets keep cables clear of the work areas. Finished in a rich Java laminate, this desk shell coordinates with other Legacy furniture. Adjustable glides on the bottom of the base keep the desktop level and are easy to adjust. The Legacy collection is constructed of a 1-inch thick thermal fused melamine laminate with a 3-millimeter commercial grade matching PVC edge. Laminates are scratch, stain and scald resistant. Legacy casegoods are backed by a 10-year limited manufacturer's warranty.

Better off with IKEA

The picture is so misleading. It is very cheap looking with laminate , doesn't have an actual wood look. The instructions that came were completely wrong so I had to try and figure out how to put together myself. Which I did with the little knowledge I have of IKEA building but it was a nightmare, it is not very sturdy and is not worth the money

Mismatched pieces, arrived damaged

Arrived damaged. The sides of the desk were to a different model and did not fit. Additional holes had to be drilled as the predrilled holes were in the wrong locations. The sides and back of the desk differed in height and shims had to be used to keep make the top level. If we'd bought it in the store we would have returned it immediately.
