I tried the other brands, including store brands, and liquid bottles. But I have to say the ease of use from a spray can is perfect. I have read reviews about the toxic fumes but let's face it, you are not supposed to be sticking your face in there and breathing away when you spray. For a chemical cleaner it smells okay. But I have been using this for decades and know that for those few seconds of each spraying, not to be breathing. Exhaling maybe, but not breathing. And then you can only spray for a few seconds anyway. And then you need to move to another section to spray. It definitely can clean up pretty quickly, but there's been many times I spray it late at night and clean the oven the next day - just depends if I have to use the oven first thing the next morning. Anyway, I also read a lot of reviews about the whites films inside there oven and won't come off. I don't know what kind of stove they have, but I have been using this stuff for a good 3 decades and it always comes off. Thing is, if you use water and rags and wipe it will be oven clean. If you are trying to dry rub it off, it will not work. And if you miss a spot, which I can easily do, it is dry and hard, but again. Water and wet rags and scrubbing/rubbing gets it right off and the oven looks brand new. You may want a small bowl or bucket near you so you don't get a flood in your oven. And have a couple drying towels, as well. This really is great stuff.
