We select the highest quality cotton yarn, weave it on jacquard looms then we cut and sew each wall tapestry by hand. The fabric of the tapestry creates an acoustic elegance to any room unlike the printed sheet "tapestries" which poorly imitate an authentic woven wall tapestry. The back of the tapestry is open so you can see how craftsmanship and weave structure creates the image on the face of the art. We use natural fibers such as cotton for each and every wall tapestry. Cotton is the most comforting natural fiber and it invites the touch of a hand...when was the last time you touched a painting. A wall tapestry is an inviting addition to your home decor. Our family was s first weavers, weaving blankets for our troops during the revolutionary war in our mill in Philadelphia. We love what we do and are proud of our textile heritage.
