It has a pencil bag, a lunch bag and a big name tag that can hang in the outside so no more guessing who's backpack it is. Plenty of room for all your child's needs. Seems very durable and waterproof. The backpack itself is pretty standard. It has one large main pocket, one smaller pocket and then canvas pockets, one on each side for holding water bottles or whatever. My 7yo just started getting into Minecraft and she loves this backpack.

This Minecraft four-piece backpack set is exceptional. The straps and back of the reflective backpack are padded which make it very comfortable to carry around. The sleeve inside for holding my son's laptop is also padded which protects his computer and makes it less susceptible to damage. That makes me feel a lot less nervous considering the rough and tumble world these backpacks are subjected to. The front zipper pouch is great for notebooks and homework assignments. It has a 'D' ring attached to it to hold keys or attach the lanyard. There are two bottle holders one on each side which I really like because my son needs to stay hydrated. The lanyard is okay. The flexibility of the rubber allows the identification card to continuously fall out. We had to make a new card out of actual cardboard stock to make sure it stayed in place. The lunch box is perfect. Just the right size to hold a sandwich, fruit, drink and even a snack. The utility case is very helpful for keeping his pens, pencils, protractor, pencil sharpener, etc. My son loves this backpack.
