Caron Pantone X Lapis 5-Color Knitting & Crochet Yarn

I have bought multiple skeins of this year I do like it a lot. However, there are a few things about that are issues. One, it does not knot. If you want to tie two ends together you have to glue it because the knot, even when ties really tightly, has the potential to unreavel due to the 'smoothness' of the fabric. Two, if your using a metal or plastic needle, it slips really easily (though could just be me not stopping the ends of my needles properly). Other than that, the year has a great feel to it

I purchased quite a bit of the Coconut Cream and am crocheting my mom a shawl with it. She always gets cold in church because of the air conditioning, so I thought this would be a great idea. This lovely yarn is so soft and easy to work with. Yes it does have a tendency to split if you're not careful, but sometimes you can avoid that just by slowing down a bit. I do wish the solid color packages would come all in one length, so I didn't have to unwind and tie together each hank. Doing so means I have too many knots in my project for my taste, but since it's a crocheted shawl, my mom won't be able to tell. I do love the feel of this yarn, and am glad it's machine washable & dryable.
