I purchased many skeins of this Mainstays 100% cotton yarn in several different colors. This blue shell color is really pretty and the color is spot on to the item page photo. The yarn is very soft and is a number four medium weight yarn. The skein has 180 yards best of all no knots! I use it for both crocheting and knitting and appreciate the wide variety of color available. I use this type of yarn for making baby items and also dish cloths i use this type of yarn for making baby items and also dish cloths. The quality is great and consistent and the price is perfect. I will definitely be purchasing more in the future.
