Affordable not cheap

I've purchased two of these from two different vendors. It is absolutely the least expensive arched lamp anywhere. It is NOT brushed nickel, it is CHROME. Very shiny. I knew when I bought this one it was chrome since the other vendor labeled it correctly. The shade is not fabric, it's more of a thick paper. Anyway, it does dent easily, my first one came with a dent I just turned that side away from the room. No scratches on the base. I've had no problems at all with the lamp and would probably choose it again.
