A set screw from perfect!
The material, design, and quality are fine. There is a need to add a set screw at the location where the ring bar inserts into the ring bar socket. Currently the only restraint holding the ring in the socket is pressure or some sort of clip inside the socket. Whatever is "holding" the ring in the socket is not enough, the ring comes free of the socket and there is nothing I could figure out to repair it. The solution was to buy a replacement.

Unfortunately, if the ring is loose from the mounting bar, the fixture does need to be replaced. This product includes a Limited Lifetime Warranty to the original purchaser.
