An oil-base, semi-transparent wood stain which penetrates into wood to highlight wood grain. May be used on all types of wood in brush or wipe-on method with minimum grain raising. Deep uniform color penetration. Covers up to 600 Sq. Ft. per gallon. Dries tack-free in 1 hour. Product uses: For all bare or new wood, doors, trim, cabinets, furniture, floors, beams, hobby, or crafts. Do not use over previously sealed or varnished surfaces which will not permit the stain to penetrate properly. This stain may be used in exterior applications, but for added preservative and water-repellent features, use exterior semi-transparent stain and wood preservative. Natural base is tintable to several specialty colors shown in Cabot Interior Stain formula book.
