Lacks luster, but easily to apply

I applied this wax over the watch Danish oil product weeks after piling the wood. It laid down flawlessly and simply. It did not give the wood much luster if any at all. So it may be a good protective from water rings etc., but it lacks aesthetic finish for the wood.
