I expected to still feel those rough places but my husband and i actually like the chair better. Wish i was a little darker to match my couch, but we are very pleased. I bought this to cover a recliner that my mother had. The original cover was a faux leather and had become terribly worn on the arms, seat and headrest. My mom passed away the day after Christmas and I wasn't ready to let her recliner go. I only wish I had found this when she was still living. It was very easy to put on and the labeling was super helpful. The fabric is nice and I like that I can wash it in the washing machine. Fits very well and looks great! I would definitely recommend this cover !
