I was going to throw this chair out, I actually had it in the garage waiting for trash day. Then I saw an email with this cover and decided to give it a try. ( I really didn't want to trash my chair..it had puppy teeth chew marks one one leg that brought back good memories). The fit is tight and perfect. The color is a rich deep wine. I am very happy I decided to save my old chewed chair!
