got this to protect the couch from getting covered in cat hair all the time. it works for that really well, and the only problem i had was during set up (i couldn't get the cover on the couch right because i didn't notice the seam lines indicating wear the couch arms go)

The cover is softly textured but sturdy and has the ability to stretch to fit nicely. The color was also accurate to the shown image. This is a light material (not flimsy but also not heavy), so if you have pets who like to dig, you might need to cover it with a pet topper, otherwise it may rip.
