Love this pencil. It glides on easy because it's a soft pencil. I was a bit disappointed when I saw the only way to advance the pencil was to use a sharpener because soft pencils usually crumble in a sharpener. I read the reviews and this was always the complaint. The company came back with " use a sharpener, don't push the pencil while sharpening, turn slowly 3-4 times". So I tried that making sure it did not grab the soft part but only the black casing around the soft pencil part. It worked! The key is to not push the pencil into the blade. Insert it but don't jamb the end.. Gently turn it like they say. It will grab the black casing and do it's job.

I don't understand the negative comments, my only negative would be the color choices. I have watery mature eyes (58) and have a horrible time keeping eyeliner on. I've tried more expensive ones that claim to stay but they don't. Once this is on, it stays! If I work quickly, I can blend it a bit. I just wish there were more shades without shimmer. This is now a staple part of my makeup routine.
