We use these shelves in our basement for storage. The floor gets damp sometimes, so metal shelves do not seem to be a good choice to use there. The shelves are sturdy enough and are easy to assemble. They are large enough to store lots of paint cans and boxes of screws, etc.

Great shelf, not just for the garage, but great for serious crafters who need an inexpensive but strong shelving solution to store supplies. Each shelf will hold three fabric cubes which allows you to organize your yarn, fabric, or bead stash. I've bought several of these shelves over the years.

This shelving is lightweight, yet very sturdy. I use mine in my garage, where I store over 130 pounds of cat litter on one shelf. The shelving is sturdy and doesn't wobble. I bought two initially, but recently bought a third one to replace an old metal shelf that had become unstable after years of use. I'm confident these new plastic shelves will last decades. They are inexpensive, considering their quality. I would recommend them to family and friends. So, I'm recommending them to Walmart customers.
