Philips Avent 9 Oz. Insulated Straw Cup

It's not hard to get the trick of getting the lids off once you realize that all you have to do is place your thumb where the straw folds down and twist- the only time it's difficult and needs some manhandling is when you need to separate the two lid pieces. Also, as long and you pull the straw from the top when replacing it- it's pretty hard to push it back down. My son has been using these since he was just over a year old. If the straws are getting pushed down they are probably doing it on purpose. As far as the other reviewers go, we've been using these for the last year and the only time they actually "leak" is when you but the lid on incorrectly. You have to make sure it's on right or you'll have a mess The only time I we have experienced it leaking is when the straw is right up against material- think like when you dip the end of a paper towel or cloth in water and it travels up. That being said, we haven't been able to find the original ones we got for my son that came in a two pack - 2 blue, or 2 green anywhere, and I wouldn't use anything else, because these don't leak all-over like traditional sippy cups, provided you have the lid on right.

I received a free sample of this cup for my son to try. I was very impressed! I thought the straw would drip when tipped over but it did not. It was knocked over and even thrown in my diaper bag and not one drop leaked. It was very easy to clean, the entire straw was easy to remove clean and assemble again. I also noticed that when I filled the cup with ice and a drink it stayed cold for a very long time. I am very happy with this product!
