I think this is a great set for beginners. I'm impressed with how nice of quality everything that is included is. I used the included digital tuner to tune the strings. It worked well and lights green when the note is in tune. The mini amp seems really good for an included starter amp and the guitar cable is nice and thick. The gig bag is very padded and has both a handle and backpack straps. I'm going to buy a wall hook so it can be easy for the kiddos to grab it when they practice. Overall, I think this is a great set to start with as everything you need is included and it's all decent quality. You can tune it and play without buying more things and you can add to it if you want. It arrived very quickly. I think the shipping box could have had a little more packing, but everything arrived safely. The guitar was packed inside its carrying bag within a protective foam bag.
