New Balance Mens FRESH FOAM X 840 Casual Comfort Sock Sneakers

In the brief time I have owned these New Balance sneakers, I am very pleased with their comfort and style. I walk about 10 miles a day so having supportive footwear is important. I have owned several other pairs of New Balance shoes; these are the best I have had.

I'll be honest, I almost sent these shoes back. I am glad I didn't. These were my first purchase of shoes designed for walking. At first they felt weird in that the shoe is designed for your heel to sit lower than the front of your foot. It almost feels like you're leaning back on your heels. I couldn't see how this was good for walking. Also, the entire sole is much thicker than my other pairs of NB shoes for tennis. I decided to keep them, and I'm glad I did. I wear them everyday when I walk my dog for our usual 1-2 mile walk. Every outing the shoes felt less weird and more supportive. By the 4th day I felt completely comfortable. I've owned them for a month and now really enjoy wearing them daily.
