The stairs are convenient for climbing, not sure about the storage on the stairs I have to double check the installation and or instructions. Overall the bed looks great in her room, and the built-in slide adds joy to playtime. Assembly took some time but was manageable with clear instructions. We highly recommend this bed for parents looking for something exciting that also helps keep the room tidy!
