Wolverine Durant Waterproof Steel-Toe Work Boot Men

This is my 4th set of the Durant boot and I have no inclination to buy any other model or manufacturer. I work in an oil and lube shop which is about the worst possible environment you could put a boot through and I get about a year and a half out of each pair which is impressive to say the least. When I was at the store, I tried on more expensive boots from both Wolverine and other manufacturers and no other boot was as comfortable as the Durant. I used to do cable TV installs and having a waterproof boot was a necessity for working outdoors on 12 hour shifts which is what initially led me to the Durant. Each time a set wears out, I get the same pair again. Simply put, this boot is the best boot for the job of maintaining maximum comfort, durability, and waterproofing that money can buy. Spending more money will not get you a better boot than the Durant. Wolverine really nailed this one. I did however have 2 defective pairs that had to be returned from the local Family Farm and Home store which was a bit frustrating, but any mass produced product is going to produce a certain number of defects which is understandable considering the volume of boots Wolverine produces in a years time. How the company handles those issues is what separates a good company from the bad. Fortunately for me, Wolverine takes pride in standing behind their product (as well as the kind folks at Family Farm and Home), and I was taken care of with great customer service and 2 easy exchanges. I am now happily wearing my new set of Durant's that fit wonderfully well. Thank you Wolverine!
