I have been using these gel toe caps for two years to prevent corns when I wear flip flops. They are so thin and transparent that most people never notice them . Nail polish shows through. I see reviews that say they tear, etc. I've used the same ones for at least a year--if not longer. I keep my toe nails short, am careful putting them on, and keep them clean--washing them after each use, takes 30 secs.--and have had NO problems. I'm ordering more now because I'm afraid they might not be available when these wear out.
