I use this salt for everything, including pressure canning meats. Its full of minerals! After finding out that its DETRIMENTAL to your health to be on a low-sodium diet, I decided to start using salt. I NEVER use the salt thats BLEACHED white and processed. Then I found this salt. Mined right here in the USA!!! Unprocessed. Full of minerals! It truly brings out the flavor of EVERYTHING I use it on. Worth every cent. I now buy it by the pound and pour into a shaker. Its cheaper that way.

The salt tastes great, and the bottle has a shaker top. However, the grains are coarse, so it doesn't work well in a salt shaker made for fine-ground salt.

Hello Doris! Thank you for giving us a try! I love the coarse-grain size of the salt for a salt cellar/mill. Next time you are in Walmart, stop by the kitchen section and grab one of their ceramic burr spice grinders. The taste of fresh ground salt is outta sight! Thank you for choosing Redmond!
