[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to love this robe because it is undeniably beautiful. The trumpet sleeves and ruffle hem give it a very gentle and feminine silhouette that looks much more expressive than it actually is! As soon as I took it out of the package, I noticed how incredibly soft and silky it feels to the touch. It also fits true to the size and doesn't look baggy at all. However, be aware that the "satin" in this case is a blend of 95% polyester and 5% spandex. While it looks and feels like silk, it is essentially plastic. Because polyester isn't breathable, I personally don't find it comfortable to wear directly against my bare skin for long periods. It does work perfectly as an outer layer over cotton pajamas or a nightgown, but if you're looking for a natural fiber to wear as a primary bathrobe, this might not be the one for you.
