We needed some shade for the dog yard before the trees got leaves. Ordered these as a "temporary" fix, they were not very expensive. When they arrived (we actually ordered a second larger one later) I was very surprised at the apparent quality of the sails. It took me some time to figure out how to get them to stay put in our situation, but the minute after I got it in place both of our dogs had gotten under them. They like to be outside when it's sunny but it gets pretty warm in the sun after a while. Under the sails it's cooler. They seem to block most if not all of the sun's rays. Overall, I am quite satisfied. The quality for the price point was a pleasant surprise.
