I bought this gift for my great granddaughter who is in kindergarten. I do believe that it will be very beneficial to her and learning to write and draw, and I wanna throw in the fact that this item took longer to get here than it should've I started to get worried, but the customer service was excellent and helping me and make sure that I got one here in time for Christmas. The directions said to peel off the backing on the front and the back as soon as you start to use it. It was nearly impossible to get off with fingernails, knives, etc. we finally had the directions said to peel off the backing on the front and the back as soon as you start to use it. It was nearly impossible to get off with fingernails, knives, etc. we finally had to use a box cutter to cut into it to get it to peel off and it left the screen all scratched up. I would not recommend this to anyone because of this problem alone. Otherwise, it worked well, but it was a mess bc of all the scratches.
