This is perfect for our river fishing trips. It took about 25 minutes to fully assemble and inflate. We leave the tube about half inflated afterwards so it's quicker to inflate for the next trip. The pouches are attached to the sides and are lined with waterproof material on the insides for extra waterproofing. The pouches get a little damp from splashing of fish and some minor rapids nothing a paper towel couldn't handle as it was that minor. The rod holder stays steady and tight once the tube is fully inflated. The high pouch above the backrest stays completely dry and great for phone, wallet, purse, etc. The water level when seated is at or near the belly button so you are slightly submerged in the water. The seat is a foam pad and stays comfy during our 3-4 hour trips. I actually prefer this as it keeps me cooler in the summer with half of my body in the cooler water. The fins are designed to be used with wet shoes not bare feet or they can be used to strap over sandals. The oar is great but there is no where to place the oar when fishing. I purchased a set of premium fins and use those to steer the tube instead of the oar. High value for the money and would purchase again if we needed another one.
