MISREPRESENTED! Not really a blanket but you can use it that way. Not battery powered unless YOU already have a battery and there's a pocket for that where the USB connector is hidden. So far I have not been able to get it to generate heat thought it lights up when plugged in. Its more like a weird little cape and matches the chair where I plan to use it. The MAIN problem is the instructions are in (assuming) Chinese. Maybe I should learn Chinese because I'm thankful for any instructions at all. Soft and I can wear it under my coat but not a good value for the price.
