for what it's worth, the salt shaker works fine. came wrapped in plastic, so there really wasn't any setup. The material overall isn't that premium - it is very thin metal, which upon taking the top off, it felt like it was flimsy. The cap has a few settings to it: a large opening, small opening, and closed. Design is nice, but nothing extraordinary. A salt shaker is a salt shaker, it works as intended.
