I am so excited for my daughter to take her first steps in these! They're lightweight, grippy on the underside and easy to get on her feet. All kid shoes should have Velcro.. makes life a lot easier. The bumps on the inside of the sole are interesting and supposed to help her feel the ground. They are subtle and don't impact comfort from what I can tell. They're APMA approved which is awesome (determined safe for healthy foot development). They're also stylish! Plus, machine washable is hard to beat. Might need to grab another pair.
