VEIKOUS 10 x 10ft Cedar Wood Pergola W/ Sturdy Slatted Roof and Ground Stakes for Patio, Garden & Deck

We built the 10x 12 Pergola over two days. The first day my husband put the roof pieces together in the garage. We built the posts lying on their side on the deck, adding the outer roof piece. Then our adult son, my husband and myself lifted it up and slid it into place followed by screwing it into the deck. Next we put the first row of roof pieces on that we prebuilt earlier and screwed them in. We then put the base trim on around the post. The following morning we put up the decorative trim on the top and the top roof pieces. Some of the cutouts for the roof were not fully cut, so we had to dremel them to make the pieces fit (3 pieces). And we were missing a bag of screws. Other than that it was fairly easy. I think we are going to love it as it does provide some shade. It feels very secure on the deck as well. Now we just need to stain our deck and it will look perfect.

I would probably give this 5 stars however, the shipping was ridiculous and customer service was non existing. I send 5 emails and no one answered me back. Because of the shipping issue the packages were damaged - heck some of the wood was damaged. I have pictures. It is a nice product and easy to install. This company needs to figure customer service out. The product shipped out from California was shipped back East then back to Utah. In what world does that make sense? It’s cost me $99.00 it arrived 4 days later than I was told. Absolutely ridiculous service.
