Great Pergola and Fairly Easy to Build

We built the 10x 12 Pergola over two days. The first day my husband put the roof pieces together in the garage. We built the posts lying on their side on the deck, adding the outer roof piece. Then our adult son, my husband and myself lifted it up and slid it into place followed by screwing it into the deck. Next we put the first row of roof pieces on that we prebuilt earlier and screwed them in. We then put the base trim on around the post. The following morning we put up the decorative trim on the top and the top roof pieces. Some of the cutouts for the roof were not fully cut, so we had to dremel them to make the pieces fit (3 pieces). And we were missing a bag of screws. Other than that it was fairly easy. I think we are going to love it as it does provide some shade. It feels very secure on the deck as well. Now we just need to stain our deck and it will look perfect.

Good product - Terrible customer service

I would probably give this 5 stars however, the shipping was ridiculous and customer service was non existing. I send 5 emails and no one answered me back. Because of the shipping issue the packages were damaged - heck some of the wood was damaged. I have pictures. It is a nice product and easy to install. This company needs to figure customer service out. The product shipped out from California was shipped back East then back to Utah. In what world does that make sense? It’s cost me $99.00 it arrived 4 days later than I was told. Absolutely ridiculous service.

Measurements were ALL WRONG. Had to replace posts

every measurement on the product information was WRONG. My contractor doing the construction found the posts were about 10" shorter than the 81" advertised and advised me this wouldn't be tall enough for comfort. We had to order new posts locally. Then he went to put the roof parts together and found THOSE measurements were ALSO wrong. Fortunately, they had not poured the footings (necessary in my location due to winds). Also the support brackets were insufficient and he had to get supplemental ones. VERY disappointing.
